Members of The Education Service Commission Sworn-In

On Wednesday June 29, 2022, the Principal Judge, Hon. Justice Dr Flavian Zeija, swore in two members of the Education Service Commission (ESC) whose term of service had ended at a ceremony held at the Judiciary headquarters. 

The two members were, Dr Violet Kajubiri a retired lecturer and researcher in veterinary medicine and has served at the Commission for more than 10 years and Mr Johnson Malinga who will be serving his third term. 

The two were presented to the Principal Judge by Dr Asuman Lukwago, the Secretary to the ESC. 

The two members pledged to serve the country to provide an efficient, professional, accountable, transparent and motivated education service in line with the Mission of the Commission.

The Principal Judge urged them to be true to their oath. He emphasized that the oath is between them and God as well as the people they are going to serve. He further urged them to serve faithfully and meticulously. 

The ceremony was witnessed by Rev Prof Samuel Luboga Abimelech the Chairperson of the Commission, the Deputy Chairperson, Ms Elizabeth K.M Gabona and other members from ESC as well as representatives from sister Commissions.

HW Karemani Jamson, the Judiciary Public Relations Officer moderated the ceremony.
